The Music Center the Netherlands in Amsterdam informs that the International Gaudeamus Interpreters Competition 2011, April 10 to 18, in Amsterdam has received 162 applications. This competition is open to all soloists or duo-members born after April 1975 and vocalists after April 1970. For ensembles up to twelve performers, the average age of members must not exceed 35 and all compositions on the program must have been written after 1945.
