The annual festival Sound of Stockholm was created by 8 different music societies in Stockholm, covering experimental music, multi media, free improvisation, electro acoustic, choral music and instrumental music. The first festival took place in 2010. Member societies are: Audiorama, BAS, FRIM, Fylkingen, KFUM (YMCA) Chamber Choir, Samtida Musik, SEKT, Stockholm Saxophone Quartet / Studio 53. The 2012 Sound of Stockholm will take place November 20-25.
