For the CAS, the 2012/2013 season is marked by the eight volume capital edition of The Anthology of Serbian choral music. We plan the author concert for Vladan Radovanovic (1932), very famous laureate of many prestigious Serbian and international prizes, to honour his 80th birthday. The author concerts are also planned for Svetlana Maksimovic (1946) and Milorad Marinkovic (1976). The CAS takes part in the TEMPUS program sponsored by EU. Our contribution is a seminar on Popular Music as an Integral Part of Popular Culture. Three master workshops will be held by the best regarded Serbian composers of popular music - Kornelije Kovac, Zoran Simjanovic and Rade Radivojevic. A special tour of Serbian authors in Republic of Srpska, Montenegro and Macedonia is also in plan.
The Twenty first International composers' festival (1-6.11.2012, Belgrade) The new compositions of nearly seventy authors will be represented, made for various chamber orchestras and voice. A concert of electroacustic music is announced, and for the first time in this festival a children chamber opera will be preformed - the "Little Red Riding Hood" by Georges Aperghis, played by the ensemble Rexlex from Paris (France). |
